Substantial Heavy Gauge Georgian Dublin Irish Silver Two Handle Sugar Bowl of generous size and of rectangular outline with scrolling angular handles, ogee lobed wavy rim, ending on four ball feet.
The shaped border with reeded edge detail above a chased band decoration.
All marks and hallmarks are very rubbed, in our opinion makers mark is W D for either William Danvers or William Doyle.
Assayed in Dublin first quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
Condition: Good condition for such an early piece, old repairs visible at one handle and one at ball foot.
