171. Pair Blue White Chinese Reticulated Porcelain Narcissus Bonsai Planters Qianlong


An Exceptionally Rare Pair of Early Qianlong Period Painted Chinese Export Reticulated Pierced Blue and White Porcelain Double Walled Shallow Planters of Rectangular Outline. Circa last quarter of the Eighteenth Century. 

Each finely hand decorated on all outer panels and top wide rims with scrolling detail, each raised on four-footed supports. These pieces are typically unmarked.   

Height: (just over) 2” (4.75cm). Width: 7" (17.5cm). Depth: 4.5” (11.5cm). 

Condition: Superb condition with no imperfections except for some light staining at top areas, the larger openings within the side areas are not imperfections, they began life as such. Back and front views are similar. Typically, unmarked but of the period.
