An Exceptionally Fine Quality English Well Figured Burr Walnut Pedestal Desk of medium proportions, retaining its original fine colour and patina, third quarter of the Nineteenth Century. 

Superbly frenched polished on all four sides which means it can be placed in the center of an office or room, attractive paneling at back and sides. The solid rectangular outline top with moulded edge inset with superb dark green leather very beautifully re-done above three drawers flanked by six further drawers complete with original elegant turned wooden handles, each pedestal ending on a platform base, with their original casters. This piece is constructed in one piece, the carcase does not come apart. 

Condition: Superb condition, this piece has recently been professionally restored in keeping with its period finish.
