Superb Rare Polished Well Figured banded Partridge wood Sword Stick of outstanding quality, enclosing its original square tapering polished steel blade, late Nineteenth Century, of English or possibly Asian origin.  

The highly ornate silver grip (over nine inches long) depicting exotic animal figures and stunning scroll decoration, above a tapering banded Partridge Wood shaft with original bi-metal (ornate silver and steel) unusually long ferrule.  

No visible hallmarks but tested as Sterling Silver. 

Condition: Good condition with nice patination, the sword mechanism in very good firm condition which locks firmly.
