An exceptionally Fine Quality English Coalport hand decorated pedestal Centerpiece of oval outline. First half of the Nineteenth Century.  

The main outer body of oval outline in cobalt blue with lavish gilt scrolling detail, the inner bowl with similar decoration and a central oval reserve with an exquisite hand painting within a decorative gilt frame depicting still life of numerous fruits and old-fashioned flowers, in the style of Frederick Chivers although in our opinion this is well before Chivers. 

Condition: This piece is in perfect condition allover with no imperfections or restoration.  Typically unmarked.
