An Exceptionally Fine Quality Single English Wedgewood Jasperware Urn Vase in the Neoclassical Style, of Generous proportions, late Nineteenth, early Twentieth Century.
The main outer body in traditional powder blue with applied mythological neo-classical figures in white low relief, applied with arched handles, dome cover with stiff white leaf decoration, ending on circular spreading support with similar decoration.
Condition: This early piece is in very good overall condition, base is bolted to body, this was typical of these early examples. Some old painting to cover which is very well done, both handles are perfect. Back and front views are similar.
Impressed base marks WEDGEWOOD & ENGLAND which dates for 1890-1908.
