Each plate with a hand painted landscape central reserve depicting various British Castles, Lochs and Landscapes by E.O. Ball set on a cobalt blue ground with gilt embellishment
Each plate with the title of the scene labelled on the reverse scenes include, Loch Katrine (2), Cader Idris, Loch Garry (2), Dunolly Castle, Llyn Llydaw, Bamborough Castle, Loch Lomond, Hawthornden, near Dover and Kilchurn Castle, all signed lower left E.O.Ball.
Coalport factory mark to base of each, some but not all also with retailers mark of H.G. Stephenson, Manchester each plate also marked with pattern number X2289.
Condition: In excellent condition all free form any chips, cracks, crazing or restoration, some typical wear for items of this age including light rubbing and stacking wear to the gilding.
