739. Superb Ladies Mahogany Writing Desk with Provenance


A SUPERB LADIES WRITING DESK WONDERFUL PROVENENCE

A very fine late Victorian, early Edwardian Flame Mahogany Ladies Writing Table of compact proportions.

The elegant raised superstructure with oval beveled mirror panel and twin superbly fitted stationery compartments with Satinwood crossbanded hinged flaps and a drawer below, the moulded rectangular leather lined writing surface fitted with two satinwood crossbanded drawers raised on boxwood line inlaid square tapering legs each fitted with original brown porcelain casters.

Condition: This piece is offered in original very good condition, nice surface patination.
