Superb and Rare Pair of Finely Cast Bronze Patinated Figural Sculptures Depicting the bust of two great French Philosophers and Writers of the Enlightenment.

Jean Jacques Rousseau and François-Marie Arouet, known by his nom de plume “Voltaire”.

Each bust supported by a very ornate ormolu socle, ending on a platform cream statutory marble base, of Continental origin, possibly French, early Nineteenth Century possibly Regency Period.

Condition: Superb untouched condition with no imperfections.
