An Exceptionally Fine Pair of Nicely Painted Chinese Imari Porcelain and Bronze Mounted Electric Table Lamps of bulbous outline, last half of the Nineteenth Century.
Each decorated in the Imari palette with panels of exotic gardens with birds and Pagodas on an iron red ground. The upper outswept shaped rim flanked by twin red enamelled handles, ending on square stepped lavish cast heavy gauge bases with inswept corners.
Condition: Exceptionally good condition for such early pieces with no losses, just light wear to gilding areas. Typically unmarked at bases. Back and front views are similar.
