842. Rare Pair George IV Mahogany Side Cabinets Possibly Cork Ireland


Superb Example of a Rare Pair of Mahogany Side Cabinets of rectangular form, the reeded top with outset rounded corners above twin doors fitted with brass grilles enclosing a shelved interior, flanked by fluted pilasters and raised on twin lion paw feet.

Possibly of Irish origin.


Condition: Superb untouched condition.


Width: 44" (112cm). Depth: 15.5" (29.5cm). Height: 33.75" (85.5cm).




Note: The combination of the reeded carved and turned uprights and wide paw feet are features commonly associated with Irish Furniture pieces from County Cork, Ireland.
