805. Superb Brass and Partridgewood Gaget Walking Cane 19thCt


SUBERB RARE SYSTEM CANE LATE 19th CENTURY

An Unusual and Possibly Quite Rare Gadget Walking Cane last quarter of the Nineteenth Century.

The circular polished brass handle unscrews to reveal a tiny dipping spoon, was quite possibly in earlier times used as a fashionable snuff gadget, in modern days however an even more fashionable use could be found!

Complete with superb Partridgewood shaft and original bi-metal ferrule

Condition: Good condition, nice surface patination to shaft.

Length: 34” (85.75cm).
