746. Rare Irish Waterford Cut Crystal Vase Circa 1810


RARE IRISH CUT CRYSTAL CELERY VASE CIRCA 1810.

An extremely rare Irish Heavy Gauge Deep Hand Cut Crystal Flair Rimmed Vase of good size. early Nineteenth Century, possible made by the original Waterford Glass Works, or could be of Cork Glass origin.

The main lower entire body with a meticulously executed continuous band of diamond and square cut patterns above a three ring socle ending on a spreading circular stepped base with star cut pattern underneath.  

Condition: This piece is offered in original very good condition, with no evidence of any losses to crystal, no inside clouding, wonderful evidence of age wear at base.

Height: (entire) 8” (20.5cm). Diameter: (base) 4.75" (12cm).
