FINE PAIR IRISH DUBLIN BRASS DOOR PULLS 1886
A Spectacular Identical Pair of Heavy Gauge Ornate Victorian Solid Polished Brass Door Pulls of Irish Origin, possibly manufactured by high end Dublin foundries either McLoughlins of Pearse Street or Joshua Edmunston of Capel Street.
Each central rectangular reserve decorated in Neo-classical design, each pull handle with fine reeded detail.
Regerstation Mark 24339 which dates these to 1886.
Condition: Superb condition for such early pieces. Professionally recently polished with no losses or dents. When disassembled these are made up of eight pieces, a real sign of quality.
Height: (backplate) 14” (35.5cm). Width: (backplate) 3” (7.5cm). Protrudence: 3.5” (9cm).
Provenance: Removed from a Dublin City Georgian House in College Green during the 1970’s and in storage since.
