631. Japanese Chinese Cantonese Famille Rose Hand Painted Porcelain Centerpiece Jar

Stunning Large Japanese or Chinese Famille Rose Lidded Jar of large proportions, made during the last quarter of the Nineteenth Century or possible a little later. 

The globular tapering body rising to a rounded shoulder, complete with its original cover with frog finial. Decorated in underglaze colours depicting Birds, Flowers and foliage.    

Condition: Superb condition for such an early piece with no restoration anywhere, the twin faces at sides are lacking metal rings, however this is not obvious. This piece is unmarked.
