Superb Example of a Bronze Figure of Mignon after Eugene Antoine Aizelin (French 1821-1902) of impressive proportions. Cast by French Foundry Barbedienne. Last half of the Nineteenth Century.
This exceptionally fine Bronze depicts a barefooted seated Lady with a mandolin at her side on a bow fronted spreading base inscribed "MIGNON" Signed and also inscribed "F Barbedienne Fondeur Paris".
Condition: Superb with good surface patination.
