Fine Oil Painting on thick heavy board of small size, by well listed English Artist Thomas Weaver Senior shows a fine thoroughbred horse with woodland and mountains in the distance, complete with its original ornate giltwood frame. 

Signed & Dated lower left Thomas Weaver Snr. 1825.

 

Condition: Painting has been professionally restored and is offered in its original frame with no losses.

Thomas Weaver Senior:  Specialised in the portraiture of prize farm animals. Among his early patrons was the famous breeder Thomas Coke of Holkham.
