Fine Identical Pair French Heavy Gauge Ormolu & Bronze Ewers of medium size proportions and of outstanding quality, in the manner of Claude Michel Clodion, second quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
The tapering ovoid body cast with leaves and buds at back and front and a decorative scroll handle, ending on a square black marble base with inverted corners.
Condition: Professionally re-gold plated and bronze patinated, few tiny flea bites to marble bases. No foundry marks visible. Each Ewer is in one piece.
