MOORE PORCELAIN LONGTON STAFFORDSHIRE 1872-1905
A Very Impressive Moore Brothers English White Glazed Fluid – Oil Lamp complete with original brass burner with bayonet mechanism, last quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
The globular reservoir moulder with flowering Cacti, the base mounted with two winged cherubs on a naturalistic white base, gilt circular support stand moulded with shells and acanthus leaves.
Condition: Good overall sound condition. There are a few losses, also some old restoration to the body of one cherub, hairline crack on naturalistic base and also underneath. Most of these imperfections are captured in the many images shown.
Base mark “MOORE” in brown.
