An exquisitely hand carved ebonized wood and bronzed Benitier crucifix Holy water
wall font, of outstanding quality, circa 1900. The main wooden cross with exceptional
carvings depicting scrolls and leaves at all ends on a plain cross.
The bronzed figure of Christ below a scroll reads INRI, the water font modelled as a clam shell.
Condition: This piece is in excellent condition, no losses and no restoration.
