A Superb Chinese Export Blue and White Porcelain Nanking pattern Covered Soup Tureen of traditional form and dome cover, with views of Canton, last quarter of the Eighteenth Century.
The shaped rectangular covered soup tureen of medium proportions with twin Boar head handles, hand painted Nanking Pattern depicting Chinese Village scenes to include Pagodas and Bridges. The original firm fitting cover with similar decoration.
Condition: Wonderful condition for such an early piece, just a few tiny paint losses especially a rim cover. This piece is typically unmarked. Back and front views are similar.
