Impressive English George iii Sheraton Period Flame Grain Mahogany Triple Tea Caddy of Outstanding Quality and Workmanship and generous size. Circa 1800-20.
The hinged lid cross banded in rosewood and satinwood, fabulously inlaid with a large central conch shell, each corner with shell inlay detail. The main body with similar inlays on all three sides. This exceptional Caddy is raised on its four original polished brass shell cast feet
Condition: Good condition with nice patination and no losses, almost all the led lining inside has worn away. Lock is present, key is also present. The woven beige fabric inside cover has in our opinion been added later, nicely done.
