A Stunning French Ormolu Standing Photo Frame of Large proportions, mid to late Nineteenth Century. 

The rectangular egg and dart outer ormolu frame enclosing a plain portrait shape photo inset surrounded with finely cast applied decorations depicting scrolling motifs and a central cartouche with a bow flanked by twin torches and scrolling detail which covers almost the entire top.  

Condition: Professionally re-gold plated, the old silk fabric has been replaced and the entire back areas re-lined. The frame is entirely glazed at front.
