An Exceptionally fine Quality Well Carved Mahogany Pier or Side Table of compact size, possibly of Irish origin. Third quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
The rectangular plain white marble top above a shaped frieze centred with a carved Bellflower flanked with scrolls with Achantus carvings at each end, on two reeded supports with unusual ring carving detail, ending on petal feet, the mirrored back with twin square section back supports on a rectangular platform plinth base.
Condition: Recently restored, original white marble with no losses.
